Summer Camp 2001

The Incident Wide Game:- Light a billy of Meths on the otherside of the river without getting wet! You can only use a frying pan,a ball of wool, bamboo canes, a spoon, a firelighter and a box of matches.


Next, collect the egg from the billy lid hanging above the river. The egg must make it back to the bank in one piece.



Most meals were prepared over an open fire.

Peppers stuffed with Mince and onion, Tomatoes stuffed with Cheese and Honey Roast Vegetables being prepared


Dinner is Served. All the vegetables and also Trout in Butter and Kebabs.




Following the Backwoods Meal, the Scouts all slept in make shift shelters like this one in the Orchard.


13th is famous for its annual 'plate golf' championships. Here great concentration is needed for the Birdie on the 9th Hole.


A brief sleep while waiting for the obstacle course. Obviously not enough sleep on the PL's survival hike last night then.
