The Beaver Colony

The Beaver Colony at 13th Maidenhead is for boys and girls aged 6 - 8 years old. We meet on a Thursday evening from 6.00 to 7.00pm. The Colony is one of the most successful in the District and is normally close to its maximum size. A waiting list is in operation and it is recommended that if interested, you put your son or daughter’s name down at the age of five. To put a name on the waiting list click here.

At Beavers we aim to have as much fun as possible whilst making new friends.

Craft activities with the BeaversAfter an initial period of 4-6 weeks, you can join the Colony. You join the Beavers in a simple ceremony where you make the Beaver Scout Promise 'I promise to do my best to be kind and helpful and to love God'. You will be presented with your neckerchief and the badges to go on your uniform at this ceremony.

The Beaver Colony has a varied programme that provides activities, crafts, visits, games, trips out and also larger events with Beaver Scouts from other Colonies.
