Maidenhead is a busy commuter town of around 60,000 people, located in the Royal County of Berkshire. The town is situated on the main railway and motorway from London to Bristol providing excelent access and communication routes with the rest of the UK. Maidenhead is located about 25 miles to the west of London and 10 miles north west of Windsor and is part of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. There have been people living in the area for over 1000 years and Maidenhead was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1066.
The 13th Maidenhead Scout Group meets at the High Street Methodist Church, located at the end of the High Street in the Town Centre. The central location gives us the advantage of a large and diverse catchment area.
