This website was launched for our Annual General Meeting in May 2001 with the intention of providing information to the members, their parents as well as publisising the Scout Group better, and to a much wider audience. The site also allows the young people to write there own pages or to write reports and display work.
The website has been carefully written to provide as much information as possible whilst not compromising the safety of the young people in any way. To this end the following rules have been applied :-
Only christian names will be used and only where necessary.
Locations and times of events will not be published on the site.
No language or photographs that are unsuitable for young people will be allowed.
The site is carefully policed to ensure that the standard is always high and we have also registered the site with the Internet Content Rating Association who operate a filter system to help protect young people from unsuitable material.
